Our Heritage

Donald G. DeCarbo is the second generation of his family to head the Funeral Home, Crematory and Parkside Cemetery. Edward A. DeCarbo (1917 – 1993), known throughout Lawrence County for his longtime civic service, established the firm in 1961.

Vince E. Fuleno joined the funeral home as a licensed funeral director in 1994 and is the Supervisor of our Wilmington Rd location. He joined Donald DeCarbo as a partner in the business. He has been a great addition to our family.

Ted Haaz, Gary Bonelli and Michael Hudson are also licensed funeral directors and key associates in our firm. Additionally, Ted is the manager and director of Parkside Cemetery and Mausoleum, Inc.

The DeCarbo Funeral Home has a rich heritage of service to our families and our community. As you can see our business is built on a foundation of personal integrity and trust- a tradition that began almost sixty years ago.

Initiated by the late Edward A. DeCarbo, strengthened by Donald G. DeCarbo, a vision of continuing service perpetuated by the Ed and Don DeCarbo Funeral home owners and funeral home staff. Funeral service is not merely a business; it is our life’s work.
